Fitness & Training Update: 32 Weeks Pregnant

It’s hard to believe how fast 2016 has flown by and that I’ve been pregnant nearly the entire year. It has also been the strangest year of running, if you want to call it that. Every few weeks, I’ve been sharing a video message with the latest updates on my running, fitness, nutrition, weight gain and other revelations while going through my first pregnancy.

Here’s what’s in today’s 90-second video message:

  • How I’m feeling at 32 weeks pregnant (8 weeks to go!)
  • What my weekly fitness and training is looking like … you’ll notice I didn’t say running, which I decided to finally give up a few weeks ago (see my training recap from the past week below the video)
  • Baby rUnladylike’s first pair of running shoes
  • What I promise is coming back to runladylike.com soon

Training Recap

Having gained about 26 pounds and counting so far, everything is getting harder. I have more aches and pains in my back and feet than I’ve ever had, and bending over is starting to become a feat in itself. Walking has become my exercise of choice, and running is only happening in my big goals and dreams for next year. Here’s what last week’s training looked like:

  • Monday: Walked 3.3 miles at sunrise with a friend

  • Tuesday: 1 hour Barre Fitness
  • Wednesday: 1 hour of strength training at Powerhouse Gym Bodypump
  • Thursday: Walked 4 sunrise miles with a friend
  • Friday: N/A: I went to the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot with Mr. rUnladylike and some friends. I walked about 5.5 miles around Epcot throughout the day

  • Saturday: Walked 3 miles outside in Orlando
  • Sunday: Walked 3 miles on my treadmill, alternating the incline from flat to 4-6 percent incline

In other news, I’ve enjoyed getting some unladylike baby gifts. You know how much I appreciate this diaper genie for all the poopy diapers we’ll be changing. Actually, this would probably be amazing for my stinky running clothes as well. Perhaps it will have a dual purpose after potty training. Ha! (And yes, those two photos to my left in this picture are of me as a baby.)

We are so thankful to so many for showering Baby rUnladylike with love.
